Today there are many online and in-person programs to assist people with social services.  The purpose of SCS Connections is to offer support sessions and resources available within their local community.  These sessions will provide: 

- A speaker who shares their similar story 

- Support for those in attendance who want to share their story or concerns

-  Government and/or non-profit resources that are available in their local community 

Many people can use online search engines for services needed, yet the human touch is lost and sometimes these online services are costly and those seeking the assistance needed do not receive the direct help they deserve.
